Crude Oil calculator: correcting errors
We always try to make sure our calculations as accurate as possible. Unfortunately, we're just humans and sometimes do silly mistakes. Yesterday we found that price per metric ton in our Crude Oil and Oil Products calculator was incorrect. It's already fixed. Other math in this calculator was double checked and show no sign of errors.

hello there
cn anybody tell me how much diesel fuel comes out from one barrel of crude oil?
It's an interesting question. Never thought about it. Well, I'll ask around, maybe will find you an answer.
You just check back here from time to time.
hello there!
can you please give me the steps or algorithm that use to convert from density @15c to barrile per tonne @61f(table 58),coz i can't understand javascript!
best regards
It's not easy. Secret is not in JavaScript, it's in mathematics. Use your experimental data (Table 58) to find your regression coefficients. Then, use your equation to find desired value.
Or just use this calculator ;-)
A litre of crude gives less than a litre of diesel. The diesel is a by-product. The more profitable lubricating oils, waxes etc form the balance. Assuming a 1:1 conversion is still in the oil companies favour.
